Part 2 - Driving Ability
As part of the driving ability test, you are required to complete an eyesight test; this is carried out in the same way as the normal driving test, i.e. by reading a vehicle's number plate. After this, you and the examiner will enter the car where the instructor will explain what is required in the test.
The examiner will expect you to show a very high level of understanding and knowledge of all aspects of driving, including:

Anticipation of the actions of pedestrians and other road users |
You will also be required to carry out specific manoeuvres such as:

An emergency stop |

Turning the car in the road using forward and reverse gears |
 |
Reverse Parking |
 |
Meeting and crossing other road users |
 |
Overtaking |
 |
Reversing the vehicle left/right into a limited opening |
