Booking a Theory Test
To book a theory test you will need to have your provisional drivers licence and a debit or credit card for payment.
A theory test costs £31.00 when booking through the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). There are other companies who will book a theory test for you but they will either charge you an administration fee or a higher theory test fee. There are various ways to book a theory test:
- Call the DSA on 0300 200 1122 you will then need to press 1 to book the theory test.
- Go online to www.dsa.gov.uk then click on book a test on line. (Left hand side of the page)
- Call our Glasgow office on 0141 764 1213 and we will book a theory test for you for a small administration charge of £1.50..

- will call you back to the book the theory test.
To book the theory test you will need to have all the details below:
- Full name
- Address (also a correspondance address if different to your licence adddress)
- Date Of Birth
- Driver number ( number 5 on your provisional licence)
- Contact Number
- Debit/Credit card for payment
Your theory test can be conducted at any UK Theory Test centres. The nearest theory test for Glasgow:
- Glasgow Central (Sauhiehall Street)
- Glasgow Clydebank
- Motherwell
When you go for a theory test you MUST take both parts of your licence (The plastic card and the green counterpart).You MUST arrive 15 minutes before your test. If you are late they will not allow you to sit the theory test and you will lose the test fee.

A driving test costs £62.00 for a weekday test and £75.00 for a weekend or out of hours test if you book this through the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).There are various ways to book a driving test:
- Call the DSA on 0300 200 1122 then press option 2 to book the driving test
- Go online to www.dsa.gov.uk then go to book a test on line
- Call our Glasgow office on 0141 764 1213 and we will book a driving test for you for a small administration charge of £1.50.

- Your Full name
- Address on your licence (also a correspondance address if different to your licence address

- Theory certificate number and the date the theory test was passed
- Debit/Credit card for payment
Your driving test can be conducted at any UK driving test centre. The driving test centres that we cover are:

Please remember that the £62.00 paid for the driving test is for the examiner to take the driving test you will need to pay £40.00 to cover the lesson before the test and for the lesson of the test.
