Part 1 - The Theory Test

The theory test consists of one hundred, multiple-choice questions and a video based hazard perception test. The pass marks are:

Theory Test                            85 out of 100

Hazard Perception Test           57 out of 75

You will sit the theory test first and once completed you are offered a 3minute break before proceeding onto the hazard perception test. Both tests must be passed before you are able to move on to the driving ability test.

There is no limit on the number of times that you can sit a Part 1 test.

At TX Driver Training we will supply all the training aids needed to help you pass both tests.
